Mom and Daughter

My sister asked when i was visiting them over the Easter holidays if she can have a shoot with her and my mom as they have no photos together. and we got to do them at the owner Sonja of the stunning Norburgh Country Estate was kind enough to let us use her venue. I had a great time with my mom and sister as its not everyday just the three of us can spend time together without the hubbies and children around.

Fairy Diva

Today my diva had a party in her class to say goodbye to her teacher as the teacher is moving to the bigger class.
it is a picnic dress up party. the theme is fairies, princess' & pirates. i dressed her up in the diy tutu i made a while back and fairy wings. for the picnic i put some little treats in for her and to round off her little outfit i remembered i had an small old wicker handbag that looks like a little basket and i used this as her picnic basket with her treats. she was so chuffed with her little bag and she even carried it over the arm  like i carry my handbag (not over the shoulder). We couldn't dare carry the bag as it was hers. and when she got tired of carrying it she dragged it on the floor. and still we couldn't touch it.

Supper with a difference

I have a very fussy eater and constantly battle for her to eat her suppers. And it didnt really help as we have to eat supper on the go as my dear husband gyms in the afternoons.

A while back I read an article about fussy eaters and how a change of meal time scenary like eating outside in the garden, etc can do them a world of good. And me and my diva, outside the gym ate inside the car coz there was no tables around as she has learnt at creche to sit at a table while eating. This very good habit has made her a very difficult customer.
Then last week a lightning bolt hit me. Last Christmas my mom gave me a portable table which I have stashed somewhere in the house. I go dig it out and keep it in the car as her supper time table. And from this week instead of a quiet spot in a corner somewhere out of sight to eat. me and her go choose a spot and she has her supper there. It has been great fun and i dont really care about on lookers. And my diva  has been eating better. Me and her is having a ball while waiting for her daddy at the gym. And the late spring time sunsets makes for very interesting scenary.
