A visit to Lory Park Zoo

My mom and niece came to visit us this week. and as my dear husband promised my niece he will take her to the zoo the next time she visits. I came across Lory park Zoo as it is a sanctuary and the kiddies can pet some of the animals and we can have a little picnic too. it just seemed the better option.

It was a great experience. the kiddies loved seeing all the animals  even lions, puma's and tigers. they got to pet a very talkative parrot, baby tortoises and hedgehog. they had a playground too with jungle gym and jumping castle which my diva enjoyed so much. though I thought what was lacking was the fact that there was hardly any shade at the play area and the sun was harsh at times. that i had to drag my dear daughter away from the play area. even though its an outdoor place I found it really inconsiderate that people would smoke in a place where there are so many children.

But that said we still had a blast of a time.
