Lights, Camera & Action

I was driving home tonight with my husband and was playing around with settings  especially slow shutter speed and of course there was a lot of blur and i played some more and this was the final result. The colours are made up of red & green robots also the back lights of cars and street lights.. Really interesting.

Weekly Project 4: Shoes

Thist week: "Shoes"  Why should I want to look at a picture of someone's shoes? The trick? Make it interesting. Perhaps you can zoom in on an interesting detail. Maybe you can put it in context with something else. The shoes does not have to be completely by themselves, but they do need to be the central subject of the image.

Day 1:
I had this project in mind for the last week and when i saw these in an antique shop on Sunday i just couldnt resist.

Day 2:

Day 3:
My footsies after a hard days work.

I wasnt gonna post this photo because I do one photo a day but I'm loving this photo. & and just had to share.

Day 4:

Day 5:

Day 6:
As this week its all about the shoes i went to scratch in my cupboard and found my wedding shoes that i only wore once. And thought it would make the perfect subject.

Day 7:
Daddy and Baby

Parys Walk

On Sunday together with a couple of fellow photography enthusiasts we invade Parys with our cameras. I got to test a nifty fifty and was amazing surprized at what this nifty lens can do.

The infamous Parys bridge.

My dear daughter loves playing with my bead necklaces. And today i gave her a couple to play with. But today she was not very enthusiatic maybe because i'm not constantly telling her NO.. the Carte Blance of it all was not thrill enough. But i did manage to get a piccie or 2.

Weekly Project 3: A Spot of Colour

Day 1:
This is the border of a frame i bought for my dear daughter

Day 2:
I have always wanted to do something with the lights in my living room.

Day 3:

Weekly Project 3: A spot of colour

Colour has an big impact on where our eyes travel in a photograph. Bright and/or light colors draw our eyes right to that area first and often that spot becomes the most important in the image. For this assignment, I want to take shots that has one area that commands your attention with color that is brighter than the rest of the shot. This is not selective color, but something that is more colorful than the rest of the image.

Weekly Project 1: Angles

Bottom up approach

So many time we take from head down that we forget how a angle such as bottom up can tell a significant. story.

Side View

Weekly Themes

After thinking long and hard about how to go about forcing myself to take pictures every day. And it not be meaning less I thought I should set a theme for the week and see how creative i can get with in that theme. I might not take every day but it will force me to take a step back and look at my surroundings and try to capture even the most mundane object and try to tell a story with it.

I think this week theme will be angles. So many times the angle of a photo makes the world of a difference. So this week I'll explore all possible angles to capture a subject.

One day at a time

Inspired by a fellow blogger's 365 day project. I got my camera out and carried it around with me. And it really gave me food for thought on what I want to photograph. And soon I was visualising things in my mind how I want it and what I'll be taking next. Quite a good exercise. Will be carrying my camera with me more often.
