Backgrounds Textures

I was tired of the same backgrounds in the house i decided to explore our car park over the weekend with my little diva and was pleasantly surprised what rugged textures can do for a photograph. and it also helped that i had a very willing model to showcase her talent. The first photo was taken on some old brick steps. not only did she enjoy the feeling the texture of the bricks but it made for a real interesting background.



The second photo was taken on the concrete of the parking and it gave a plain but textured background. I experimented with black and white and it seems to convey a better mood of the photo. the colours seem to distract the essence of the photo and the black and white emphasised it.
